On June 7th George Nanez Chavez joined his parents, Juan and Lupe Chavez, and brother, Johnny in heaven. George had a lifelong love for fine cars and by age 16 had bought a Plymouth Fury with duel quads. Sharp dressed, jet black flat top and that twinkle of harmless mischief in his eyes that we will never forget, he roared through the 50's breaking many hearts, including that of the local law. After manyachase and slightly amused, they learned to wait for him to return home instead of chasing his hot rod. He settled down to raise 3 children in San Angelo who love him very much. He is survived by his sister Rachel Luna, his daughter Susie, 2 sons George Jr. and Scott, 4 grandchildren and 1great grandson. We will say "see you later" on Wednesday, June 14th. Visitation will be held at Johnson's funeral home from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M. with a graveside service following at 11:00 A.M. in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are
under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
