Juan is survived by his loving wife, Adelita of 28 years. Also surviving are his brothers, David Guerra, Daniel Guerra (Azucena), Francisco Guerra, Jr. (Rosa Linda); sister, Sylvia Guerra; favorite niece, Margarita and numerous nieces and nephews. His nieces and nephews loved their "Uncle Juan". Juan graduated from Hebbronville H.S., before serving in the United States Air Force. Juan was a devout Catholic, with much faith in God. Juan enjoyed "simple" things and cherished every moment. He loved savoring the cooking of others. Although quiet and reserved, Juan's "presence" was found in his gentle spirit and humble manner. Juan's expression of his love of Adelita was profound and steadfast, always demonstrating the value of marriage and the importance of God's presence in that union.
